Continuous training and practice

At the Soccorso Alpino e Speleologico Trentino, training is a fundamental part of our work. The provincial school of CNSAS, in collaboration with the other national schools, designs and manages the theoretical and practical programmes that prepare rescuers to face typical alpine and hypogeal scenarios.

Continuous training

Skills that evolve

Joining and remaining operational within the Soccorso Alpino e Speleologico Trentino requires a pathway of selections, periodic updates and assessments. It is a constant commitment, essential because our work demands competence, preparation and the ability to assess risks with care.

Become a rescuer

Our training is broad and structured, developing advanced technical skills in every area in which we operate. Real-environment exercises allow us to practice rope-handling techniques, the use of anchors and haul systems, stretcher management and orientations. Alongside these, medical first-aid skills prepare us to deal with trauma, hypothermia and more complex situations.

Continuous training

Our training pathway supports rescuers in a continuous learning process, from basic skills to specialisations in avalanches, canyons, caves and missing-person searches. Training well means responding effectively, safeguarding those in difficulty and the team members who intervene. This is how we make a difference when it matters.
